4 charged in carjacking, deadly shooting that injured 2 cops on South Side

CHICAGO — Two males and two youngsters had been charged in reference to a deadly shooting and carjacking that injured two cops on the South Side.

Antonio Gonzalez,19, and Isaac Corona, 25, together with two juveniles, 17 and 16, have been charged in a sequence of crimes that occurred Monday afternoon.

Police mentioned it began with a drive-by shooting from a stolen automotive that killed a 21-year-old man close to 51st and Elizabeth Street. The 4 suspects then crashed the black Chevy at 57th Street and Damen Avenue.

Police mentioned Gonzalez tried to carjack one other automobile and injured two officers attempting to get away. The officer’s accidents weren’t thought-about life-threatening.
