Florida man Seth Settle arrested for killing mom who told him no smoking in room

A 19-year-old Florida man was arrested and charged with allegedly capturing and killing his mom in their Polk County house this week.

Seth Settle reportedly shot and killed his mom Thursday after she ordered him to cease smoking cigars in his bed room, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd stated, in accordance with Fox 13 Tampa Bay.

The incident occurred shortly after Settle’s father left work on what appeared like a traditional weekday.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m., although, he had obtained a name that his spouse had been taken to a hospital.

Authorities have been first alerted to the incident by Settle’s 24-year-old brother, who discovered his mom collapsed in their Lake Wales house.

Authorities didn’t instantly suspect foul play as a result of there reportedly wasn’t any blood discovered in the house or apparent accidents to the sufferer’s physique.

“He fled past her — didn’t help, didn’t call 911,” the sheriff added. “I can’t begin to tell you the horror of this event.”

Settle was charged with second-degree homicide, tampering with proof, 5 counts of offering false data to regulation enforcement and discharging a firearm on a residential property, the native information outlet reported.
