KENS CARES: Soldiers’ Angels assists troopers, veterans, families

Volunteers are wanted in San Antonio to assist perform the mission.

SAN ANTONIO — Soldiers’ Angels was based in 2003 by the household of General George Patton. Their mission is straightforward − present help, consolation, and resources to the navy, veterans, and their families. They assist all six branches of the navy in addition to veterans of all generations.

At Soldiers’ Angels, they perceive that becoming a member of the navy is a lifelong dedication. From the stresses of the primary deployment to elevating a household within the navy to doubtlessly enduring life-changing wounds, and eventually transitioning again to civilian life. They try to assist the navy and veteran group by every stage of navy service.

Their assist groups and volunteers are the center of their group. Working nearly and on the bottom, a world community of “Angels” come collectively daily to assist the navy group. 

Virtual volunteers ship care packages, playing cards, letters and baked items to deployed, creating handmade blankets and craft objects for veterans, throwing digital child showers for expectant navy and veteran spouses and extra. In-person volunteers help at month-to-month meals distribution for low-income, at-risk, and homeless veterans, go to sufferers and host luncheons at VA medical services, and help in assembling care packages, field lunches, vacation stockings and extra. 

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, nonpartisan group, Soldiers’ Angels depends solely on the generosity of our supporters, which embrace people, colleges, civic teams, firms, and foundations.
