Hearst estate sells for $16M over bidding price at auction

The Italian and Spanish-style mansion has been on and off the market for between $69.95 and $195 million since 2007.

The 29,000-square-foot home (35,000 sq. ft together with visitor homes and different buildings on the property) has an Art Deco nightclub, a wine cellar, two luxurious house theaters, a spa, a gymnasium, a therapeutic massage room, a billiards room and a lighted tennis courtroom.
