“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice is opening up about her choice to sell her longtime Montville, NJ residence.

The actuality star, 48, revealed on the present’s March 3 episode that the house she spent practically 20 years in was changing into an excessive amount of to bear.

Teresa initially bought the house with her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, in 2002 for $530,000.



“It’s hard for me to sell the house,” she revealed on digicam in a confessional. “[My ex-husband] Joe [Giudice] and I built the house together, we raised our four daughters in that home.” 

“I am ready for a new beginning,” she added. “I’m looking for a fresh start.”

Two months earlier than the house hit the market, Teresa introduced on inside designer Jimmy DeLaurentis to utterly change up the house’s decor.

“She was like, ‘My house needs a lot of work, it’s dark, it’s filled with old Italian stuff, Joe is gone,’” DeLaurentis told E! on the time. “She was just like, ‘I need to feel lighter in this house.’ It’s a huge house, everything was doom and gloom and dark, and she had memories of a lot of stuff and she just wanted to brighten it up.”

Teresa and Joe, 50, raised their 4 children within the residence till 2015 when the couple was convicted and finally jailed for chapter fraud, conspiracy to commit mail fraud, wire fraud and failing to pay taxes. 

The house is now on the market for $2,248,888. 

As Page Six previously reported, Joe accomplished a 41-month sentence for mail, wire and chapter fraud in March 2019, however was instantly transferred to ICE custody.

He was ordered to be deported to Italy in October 2018, since he was not a U.S. citizen when he dedicated the crimes.

Months after he was deported, Teresa filed for divorce.

Giudice has since switched her consideration to a $3.35 million “investment property” with her new 46-year-old boyfriend, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, who reportedly funded the acquisition. Giudice would be the property supervisor of the Montville residence, which is barely three doorways down from the house she shared with her ex-husband. She and her chiseled new beau began dating in November after her divorce from Joe was finalized.
