Video shows Revel moped engulfed in flames on Brooklyn street

New video shows a Revel moped going up in flames in Brooklyn over the weekend.

Video posted on Reddit Sunday shows the blazing rental bike on the nook of Lafayette and Nostrand avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

In the video, a person in an FDNY uniform appears to be like on because the scooter burns.

Photos posted separately on Twitter appeared to indicate the aftermath of the incident — the again half of the bike burnt to a crisp and shards of burnt cardboard strewn round it.

It’s unclear how the bike ended up in flames. The FDNY didn’t instantly have any details about the hearth.

“We are aware that a Revel moped in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood was damaged by fire last night, and we are investigating the cause of the incident,” a Revel spokesperson informed The Post on Monday.

The app-based moped sharing firm returned to New York City streets in August after a month-long hiatus spurred by three deadly crashes in the span of 10 days.
