Woman busted in Virginia for allegedly killing boyfriend in Brooklyn

A girl wished by cops for fatally taking pictures her ex-beau in Brooklyn throughout a battle in August was arrested in Virginia Tuesday for possession of a weapon, police and police sources stated Wednesday.

Charlene Morris, 34, was tracked to Newport News the place she was busted by the NYPD’s Regional Fugitive Task Force on an arrest warrant for allegedly killing Jamal Copeland at 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 15, cops stated.

Morris was in possession of a firearm when she was picked up, in keeping with police sources. It was unclear if it was the homicide weapon.

She was charged with homicide and legal possession of a weapon, police stated.

Morris allegedly shot Copeland throughout a home dispute, cops stated. It was unclear what the pair was arguing about.

Copeland was struck as soon as in the torso close to E. thirty ninth St. and Avenue D and died at Kings County Hospital, in keeping with cops.
