HOUSTON – The Houston Astros Foundation will host an emergency supply drive Saturday to assist distribute donated gadgets to Hurricane Laura victims.
The supply drive will likely be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The donated gadgets will go to the Catholic Charities of Lake Charles and will likely be distributed to these impacted by the hurricane.
According to a information launch, these are the gadgets wanted most:
- hygiene merchandise (toothpaste, shampoo, cleaning soap)
- bathroom paper
- paper towels
- rubbish luggage
- laundry detergent
- cleansing provides
- pet meals
- tire restore kits
- air mattresses
Due to the coronavirus, the drive is simply accepting new gadgets.
The no-touch drive may also settle for donations through curbside drop off on Crawford Street at the Left Field Entrance adjoining to Minute Maid Park.
