Thompson San Antonio, the 162-room luxurious hotel that may anchor a brand new mixed-use growth alongside the banks of the River Walk, has unveiled plans for a group of eating places and bars it would introduce to the Alamo City in early 2021.

The culinary lineup consists of 4 eating and nightlife ideas, highlighted by Landrace, a brand new riverside restaurant led by James Beard Award finalist Chef Steve McHugh. Landrace will likely be on the bottom flooring of the hotel.

Thompson San Antonio General Manager Ted Knighton stated the brand new restaurant will characteristic “one of San Antonio’s most celebrated chefs” as McHugh gained nationwide approval for his Cured at Pearl.

“Landrace is a dream realized for me as I have been envisioning and working on the concept for some time,” McHugh stated.
