Traffic delays on I-15 southbound due to brush fire

Cal Fire posted to their Twitter web page that they’re on the scene and advise drivers to use warning when passing by the realm.

SAN DIEGO — Fire crews stay on the scene of a brush fire off Deer Springs Road and southbound I-15 that began late Saturday morning. 

Two lanes of SB I-15 have since reopened at Gopher Canyon Rd, however authorities observe to drive with warning within the space. 

Traffic is anticipated to stay backed up for hours. 

Cal Fire posted to their Twitter page that they’re on the scene and count on to stay there till effectively into the night. The company famous that the fire is below management and that they are simply attempting to get visitors flowing. 

Fire investigators discovered particles from a defective catalytic converter within the space, which is suspected to be the reason for the fire, Cal Fire spokesman Thomas Shoots mentioned.
